Last Updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SubSavvy (subsavvy.ca), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
SubSavvy is an information service designed to help Canadian consumers identify recurring subscription charges and access cancellation guides. We are not a financial advisor, legal counsel, or cancellation agent.
2. Description of Service
Free Scan: Upload a bank or credit card statement (PDF or CSV) to automatically detect recurring subscriptions. Summary results are displayed at no charge.
Full Report ($7 CAD, one-time): Unlock all detected subscriptions, cancel guides, and province-specific consumer rights information.
Action Pack ($15 CAD, one-time): Includes all Full Report features plus cheaper alternative service comparisons and 12-month cancellation reminders.
All purchases are one-time payments. There are no recurring charges for any SubSavvy plan.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
SubSavvy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that subscription detection will be 100% accurate, or that cancel guide information will always be current.
Cancel guide information (steps, URLs, phone numbers) is provided as a convenience and may not reflect real-time changes made by subscription services. Always verify current cancellation procedures directly with the service provider.
Province-specific consumer rights information is provided for general educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Consult a qualified legal professional for advice on your specific situation.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SubSavvy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or inability to cancel a subscription.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload any file you submit to SubSavvy.
You agree not to upload files containing confidential information belonging to others without authorization.
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on SubSavvy, including cancel guide data, the platform design, and underlying code, is the property of SubSavvy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from SubSavvy without our express written permission.
7. Payments and Refunds
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable once the full report or action pack has been unlocked and accessed.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing purchased content, contact us at support@subsavvy.ca within 7 days for a full refund.
8. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
